Landman Plot: Per Paramount+, the official synopsis for Landman is as follows: “Based on the notable 11-part podcast Boomtown, Landman is set in the proverbial boomtowns of West-Texas and is a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs. The series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires that are fueling a boom so big it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics… [In Season 2] as oil rises from the earth, so do secrets — and Tommy Norris’s (Billy Bob Thornton) breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller (Demi Moore), and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble — it’s brutal. And sooner or later something’s got to break.”

Landman Season 3 Premiere Date: TBA

Landman Cast, Season 3 Updates, And More: Landman‘s sophomore season premiered on November 16 and aired its finale on Sunday, January 18. But Paramount+ already renewed the hit series for Season 3 back in December 2025. There’s been a lot of concern about whether or not Thornton will be replaced in Season 3, and while we highly doubt Tommy Norris is going anywhere, the Season 2 finale will give viewers a better idea of who from the cast — which includes Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, Sam Elliott, and more — is returning. Season 1 and Season 2 premiered in November 2024 and November 2025 respectively, so hopefully Season 3 could arrived in November 2026, but tuned for more Landman Season 3 updates post-finale.

Marshals Plot: Per a press release from CBS, the synopsis for Luke Grimes’ Yellowstone spin-off, Marshals, is as follows: “Luke Grimes reprises his role as Kayce Dutton. With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana. Kayce and his teammates — Pete Calvin (Logan Marshall-Green), Belle Skinner (Arielle Kebbel), Andrea Cruz (Ash Santos) and Miles Kittle (Tatanka Means) — must balance the high psychological cost of serving as the last line of defense in the region’s war on violence with their duty to their families, which for Kayce includes his son Tate (Brecken Merrill) and his confidantes Mo (Mo Brings Plenty) and Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham) from the Broken Rock reservation.”

The Madison is Sheridan’s most intimate work to date, unfolding across two distinct worlds…as it examines the ties that bind families together.”

With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter becomes the man he’s supposed to be.”

Mayor of Kingstown Plot: Per Paramount+, the official synopsis for Mayor of Kingstown is as follows: “Mayor of Kingstown follows the McLusky family – power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.”

Mayor of Kingstown Cast, Season 5 Filming Updates, And More: Mayor of Kingstown’s Season 4 finale aired on December 29, 2025, and in January 2026, Paramount+ renewed the series for a fifth and final season. Mayor of Kingstown Season 5 will consist of eight episodes and star Jeremy Renner and Edie Falco again, along with other returning cast members. Tulsa King Plot: Per Paramount+, the official synopsis for Tulsa King is as follows: “New York mafia capo Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a crew from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.”

Tulsa King Cast, Season 4 Filming Updates, And More: Thanks to an Instagram post from Stallone and the team, we know that production on Tulsa King Season 4 began in November 2025. So a 2026 premiere seems possible, and would likely be in the fall if past premiere dates are any indication. Stallone will certainly be back to reprise his role, and Gretchen Mol is also joining as a series regular in Season 4 as Amanda Clark, a Tulsa politician. There’s potential for other new characters to be introduced, and while Robert Patrick may not return (IYKYK), other Season 3 cast members like Martin Starr, Jay Will, Garrett Hedlund, Annabella Sciorra, and more will likely be back. NOLA King Plot: Per Paramount+, the official synopsis for Tulsa King spin-off, NOLA King, is as follows: “Samuel L. Jackson’s character, Russell Lee Washington Jr., was introduced in Season 2 of Tulsa King. Washington, after befriending Dwight Manfredi (Stallone) during a ten-year stint in federal prison, is sent to Tulsa by New York’s Renzetti crime family to take Dwight out once and for all.”

Lioness Plot: Per Paramount+, “Lioness is based on a real-life CIA program and follows a Marine recruited to befriend the daughter of a terrorist to bring the organization down from within… In Season 2, as the CIA’s fight against terror moves closer to home, Joe (Zoe Saldaña), Kaitlyn (Nicole Kidman), and Byron (Michael Kelly) enlist a new Lioness operative to infiltrate a previously unknown threat. With pressure mounting from all sides, Joe is forced to confront the profound personal sacrifices she has made as the leader of the Lioness program.”

Lioness Season 3 Premiere Date: TBA (Potentially Fall 2026)

Lioness Season 3 Cast, Filming Updates, And More: It took far too long for fans, but Paramount+ finally renewed Lioness for Season 3 in October 2025. Season 2 starred Saldaña, Kidman, Kelly, Morgan Freeman, and more. And Season 3 is welcoming Ian Bohen, as series regular Grady, a “by-the-book Delta Force operator and primary K9 handler, skilled in battlefield tactics.” After roles in Yellowstone and Wind River, Lioness will mark Bohen’s third collaboration with Sheridan. Production began in Texas back in October 2025, so a 2026 release seems like a possibility — especially since Lioness was featured in Paramount+’s 2026 teaser video. Stay tuned for more updates!

1944

1944 Plot: There’s not an official synopsis for 1944, but like 1883 and 1923, the rumored Yellowstone prequel spinoff would check in with the Dutton family during the period and dive deeper into the lore. As Decider notes, the series would “follow the next generation of Duttons during the height of World War II and will reveal how the political and economic circumstances will affect them and the ranch.”

1944 Cast, Filming, And More: When 1923 wrapped its second season in April 2025, it set the stage for 1944, which would presumably feature surviving stars like Brandon Sklenar (Spencer Dutton) and Michelle Randolph (Elizabeth Stafford). In an interview with Decider, Sklenar said, “we’ll have to wait until 1944 to confirm” Spencer and Alex’s (Julia Schlaepfer) son becomes John Dutton’s (Kevin Costner) father. So here’s hoping the series gives 1923 fans all the answers they seek. In a recent interview with Decider, however, Landman‘s Randolph said she hasn’t been asked to reprise her 1923 role yet, so stay tuned. “I’d love to see how she is doing after all that happened in 1923. She left so abruptly. I’m like, does she go back to the city? Does she stay in Montana after all? I don’t know anything about 1944, but I do know that if I could, I would love to be part of it and play Elizabeth once more,” Randolph explained.

The Road Plot: Per Paramount: “The Road follows 12 talented emerging musicians as they compete as opening acts for GRAMMY Award winner Keith Urban at music venues across America. The Road Season 2 Cast, Updates, And More: The Road‘s 10-episode first season concluded in December 2025 and a Season 2 has yet to be announced, though that doesn’t mean a renewal is out of the question. If The Road does return, there’s a chance CBS could opt for another fall release and there’s also potential for other artists besides Urban to tap in.
